Ever wondered what that blade Shadow always carried behind is back?
Well it is a Spirit Weapon, one of the most dangerous tools in all of the universe.

Spirit Blade is the highest rank of all the Elemental Warriors, and an inspiration to them. These characters have a sole connection to the Elite Spirits, allowing them to fight side-by-side, and eliminating all who those get in the way of the Spirit and it's Master. Spirits can be stored in any kind of weapon, improving it and allowing the Spirit to awaken. In return, the Spirit will always protect the Master.

During Shadow's fighting over Erinn, a Spirit named Dawn came to him when Erinn was near destruction and assisted him, thus defeating the Dark God and his followers. He was the first Spirit Blade ever known in all of history, and respected by the loyal Elemental Warriors. Spirit Blade Shadow was praised by his Clan, and each one of them will have a memory of him in their heart. Master Shadow & Mistress Dawn are happy to please the Elemental Warriors and protecting them as well.

The Spirit stored inside Shadow's Claymore, Dawn, a female Spirit made to protect the sole Heroes of the Universe, such as the Shadow the Hero, Lire the Nova, and so on. The reason of choosing for Shadow because he needed the most help on his journey, and is unable of doing many battles alone.

The Spirit Blade allows the user to retain his/her old abilities and weapons, such as Bolt Spells, Adv Magic, Elite Combat, Transformations, etc. Plus, he can actually fuse Fire, Ice, and Lightning into the "Fusion" Element which retains all 3 of their purposes. In addition to all of this, the Spirit Blade has a major connection with the Holy Gods above, and are given a blessing to allow it's Master to become a "Demi-God". Shadow was governed over the powers of Twilight. The "God of Twilight" possesses a fusion of Light and Darkness; Twilight, and Shadow is then known as "Twilight Hero" upon this transformation. This form is shown as the user glowing in enormous Light and Dark energy, with Shadow Angelic Wings equipped as well. This power is enormous and allows Shadow to experience the powers of a God, able to defeat anyone who gets in his way. Even as a God, it isn't the best of his potential...

During one of the Fomorian Wars, he led 200 other Elemenalists against two thousand Fomorians. When the battle ended, everyone except Shadow died. He was shamed by his loss, and cut off his right arm, then fled.
Everyone was sorrowed by this loss, and then feared Shadow was dead. Only Dawn was the one who watched Shadow from the heavens, seeing that he fled. After 10 years of searching, she finally found him, and embraced him a metallic silver arm that could amplify his movements. However, he still feels guilt on the arm, and uses a robe to conceal his identity.

When Shadow rushed to stop the Darkness, he confronted a Goddess, who granted him the Deities' powers. He refused to be a full one; only a half, as feeling more guilt to being granted this power.
And so, begins the first Spirit Blade to be ever made...

Description:
Mainly the Deities are supposed to have supreme powers, but not all deities are that great. I've seen many of them and yet none of them had potential over me. I myself, am indeed the God of Twilight who has possession to balance between Light and Dark. Even I'm not that great. Lets see how you handle it, Grand Chase.

Keystrokes Name Effect
ZZZ Basic Combo Shadow will do a Triple Slash with his Spirit Weapon. Third Slash will knock the target backwards, but wont knock them down.
ZZ+Arrow R Crit/Double: Spin Attack During the Basic Combo, the next hit will spin around, similar to the grab.
ZZ+Arrow U Uppercut Combo Shadow will do a large uppercut attack, similar to the Gladiator's Grinding Punisher.
ZZ+Arrow D Shockwave Combo Shadow will then strike the ground, similar to the effects of a Dragon Knight's Road-Star Chaser.
Fall Recovery Recovery Slash Shadow will rise up, slashing whoever is ontop of him. Similar to Dragon Knight's Fall Recovery.
Grab Effect Spin Slash Shadow will push the target onto the ground, and leap across, using a spin attack.
Arrow U+Z Slash Strike Shadow will leap up and hit once in the air. It has the range + bit more than Sword Master, though the blade itself is much thinner like Abyss Knight/Striker.
Arrow RArrow R+Arrow RArrow R Sonic Dash Shadow will dash at Light Speed. Targets in Sonic Dash will be pushed away and possibly take damage.
Arrow RArrow R+Z Dash Slash Shadow will do a heavy slash with his Spirit Weapon during a dash.
Arrow RArrow R+Z+Arrow D Evasion Evasion is a common practice ability used by most warriors. It rolls out of the way to avoid most ranged attacks. However, it is only limited with a 70% chance of evading.
Arrow R+Z with target nearby Smash Shadow will do a Smash Attack, dealing heavy damage to the target. It may also cause a splash effect upon targets. Damage is 500% (5x) of a Base Hit, and the Splash Damage equals to 50% (.5x).
Arrow D+Z Defend Shadow will block one attack from the opponent, nullifying it by 70% (.7x) and breaking their combo as well. Shadow has the option of doing a combo of his own to the target. In addition, nearby allies (skill freeze range) will gain an additional 10% Defense.
Arrow D+ZZ Counterattack Shadow will stall. In this state, he cannot move, but if he does then Counterattack segment will cancel. If hit by any melee attack (that includes Grabs), Shadow will dodge the attack and reflect it onto the opponent. Any magic/ranged attack will beat this move, and automatically cancel the Counter. Reflected damage deals 250% (2.5x) of the Opponent's Base Hit, while adding 250% (2.5x) of Shadow's Base Hit, concluding with a +10% (.1x) Critical Rate.
Arrow D+ZZZ Windmill Shadow will do an AoE Spin Attack, hitting all targets in every direction and even at a farther distance (approximately 5 feet; reaching appears to be illogical). Damage of Windmill is 250% (2.5x) of a Base Hit. Also, Windmill's spinning animation has an immunity. However, this ability uses 10% of maximum HP per use.
When Downed, Arrow D+Z Teleport When Shadow is in a downed state, he will teleport behind the enemy and get up behind them.
Arrow DArrow D Spirit Blessing Dawn will appear at Shadow's aid and give him a random effect. Can only be used once per 5 minutes.

Random Effect List:
-Shadow's Attack will double for 30 seconds.
-Shadow's Defense will double for 30 seconds.
-Shadow's Vitality will double for 30 seconds.
-Will replenish all HP.
-Will restore all MP.
-Super Armor for 15 seconds (can still be grabbed).
-Increased Speed for 15 seconds.
-Reflect effect for 10 seconds.
-Haste effect down by 10 seconds.

X Change Weapons Shadow will put his Spirit Weapon away, and pull out his Twin Swords.

Arrow U+ZZZ Ice Spin Slash Shadow will shoot multiple, small Ice Waves in midair. They aim at a 360% angle and fire in 6 directions; Horizontal, Vertical, and Diagonally.
Arrow RArrow R+Arrow R+Z Dash Rolling Slash Shadow will slide across the floor, rolling on the ground, slashing in all the ways.
Arrow U+Arrow D+Z+ Comet Slash Shadow will do a Comet Slash in Mid-Air.
Arrow U+Arrow D+ZZ Lightning Smash Shadow will do a Smash Attack downward which emits Lightning.
Arrow RArrow R+Z Gale Attack Shadow will do a Saber Thrust during a Dash.
Arrow RArrow R+ZZ Thunder Stab Shadow will stab his enemy producing Lightning energy. When hitting a wall, it will produce sparks of lightning which will travel along the floors and walls. This can be done after Gale Attack.
Arrow U+Z Rising Fang Shadow will do a Rising Fang.
Arrow U+ZZ Flame Fang Shadow will do a Flame Rising Uppercut attack.
Arrow D+Z Ice Blade Shadow will throw an Ice Blade which travels along the ground.
Arrow D+ZZ Electrical Wave Shadow will shoot an Electrical Wave on the ground, similar to Ice Blade. It can be fired after Ice Blade as well.
When Downed, Arrow D+Z Teleport When Shadow is in a downed state, he will teleport behind the enemy and get up behind them.
X Change Weapons Shadow will put away his Twin Swords and fight with his hands.

ZZZZZ Basic Combo Uses the force within Shadow's metallic hand to draw the enemy closer with Wind, and then uses a fusion of Lightning, Fire, and Ice to strike 3 more times before pushing them away.
ZZ+Arrow R Crit/Double: Elemental Fist During the Basic Combo, the next hit will instead produce a Elemental Fusional Punch.
Grab Effect Magic Blast Shadow will push the target onto the ground, and aim his magical attacks at it.
Fall Recovery Windmill Shadow will do a Spinning Kick attack from fell.
Arrow RArrow R+Arrow RArrow R Sonic Dash Shadow will dash at Light Speed. Targets in Sonic Dash will be pushed away and possibly take damage.
Arrow RArrow R+Z Gale Attack Shadow will do a Saber Thrust during a Dash, using magical properties instead of physical.

Arrow U+A Firebolt Shadow will cast Firebolt which initially stack damages for 5 charges.
(Note: Cast time is 1.5 seconds. No charges will disappear when knocked back.)
Arrow D+A Icebolt Shadow will cast Icebolt which creates a revolver for 5 charges.
(Note: Cast time is 1.2 seconds. Only one charge will disappear when knocked back.)
A+Z Lightning Bolt Shadow will cast Lightning Bolt which can chain enemies and/or push back for 5 charges.
(Note: Cast time is 1.2 seconds. Only one charge will disappear when knocked back.)
Arrow R+Z with any Bolt Charge. Launch Bolt Shadow will launch the bolt effects at the target.
Arrow D+Z Magic Mana Shield Casts a Shield of Mana. Shadow will be unable to move during this phase. Any allies within the Shield will also be protected. Turns all Magic Attacks into nothing. Other attacks will disrupt the shield. Casting time is .5 seconds, while it lasts for 10, but a cooldown is 15.
Arrow D+ZZ Magic Natural Shield Casts a Shield of Nature. Shadow will be unable to move during this phase. Any allies within the Shield will also be protected. Turns all Ranged Attacks into nothing. Other attacks will disrupt the shield. Casting time is .5 seconds, while it lasts for 10, but a cooldown is 15.
Arrow D+ZZZ Magic Physical Shield Casts a Shield of Physical Elemental Forces. Shadow will be unable to move during this phase. Any allies within the Shield will also be protected. Any enemy who attempts to attack will get himself hurted by 50% of his attk dmg, and unable to enter the shield. Other attacks will disrupt the shield. Casting time is .5 seconds, while it lasts for 10, but a cooldown is 15.
When Downed, Arrow D+Z Teleport When Shadow is in a downed state, he will teleport behind the enemy and get up behind them.
A Mana Absorbture Uses the energy from Shadow's Metallic hand to absorb a plentiful of mana. Absorbing process is 5 seconds with a cooldown of 20.
X Change Weapons Shadow will pull out his Spirit Weapon.

Note: Most of the MP Skills on Combat and Magic were originally 3rd Bars from Flame Warrior, Ice Knight, and Lightning Blade. However, they were toned down to match their correct levels.

MP Skill Lvl Name Effect
1st MP Skill Spirit Strike Shadow will leap up into the air, and create a wided slash attack. No Skill Freeze with this. However, it can easily be avoided by dashing under him as he jumps.
2nd MP Skill Spirit Beam Shadow aims his sword horizontally, and shoots out a Large, Blue Beam, similar to the Battle Mage's Air Blast. Difference is that damage does not change, regardless of distance.
3rd MP Skill Spirit Force Tosses five large magical bolts that fire on a "fixed" position of the enemy.
4th MP Skill Spirit Awakening: Shockwave Edge Uses the first inner power of the Spirit. Shockwave Edge thrusts the blade into the ground, emitting a 360° forced lightning to nearby enemies.
5th MP Skill Spirit Awakening: Piercing Magic Uses the second inner power of the Spirit. Piercing Fire shoots out numerous, instant bolts at the enemies about.
6th MP Skill Spirit Awakening: Dawn's Blade Uses the last inner power of the Spirit. Shadow and Dawn will work together, throwing a single, powerful shockwave infront of his enemies, inflicting massive damage. Thrown at a 120° angle, but has incredible range. This one move will initially make enemies fall before the Spirit's might!

1st MP Skill Flame Blade Shadow enchants his blades with a flaming edge, and then makes powerful slashes forward, backward, and then forward again. An excellent combination of Spinning Slash and Destroyer of Heaven.
2nd MP Skill Frost's Edge Shadow will do a powerful uppercut, and following that, three massive frosty pillars will rise up from the ground, dealing intensive to those caught in the blade.
3rd MP Skill Plasma Cyclone This massive tornado is shot in one direction, moving slowly with infinite range. It is extremely difficult to avoid this attack, and getting caught in it will likely kill.

MagicEdit

MP Skill Lvl Name Effect
1st MP Skill Blaze This firey attack launches a massive wave ontop of an enemy, heavily pushing them back. After enough distance, it creates a powerful explosion.

(Note: This attack is a "charging" spell, meaning that after every second until a max of 10, it grows in strength. Of course, that also leaves you vulnerable. Plus, this is a melee attack and not a ranged one.)

2nd MP Skill Chaos Comet A meteor is bad. A Deep Impact is badder. And a Comet gets worse. It contains massive frozen comets that implode upon the on the area it lands. Range is about two full screens on a vertical axis.
(Note: It takes 3 seconds to cast the skill and then use it. Also, Chaos Comet does a (Deadly) Single Hit attack, unlike Deep Impact which leaves a DoT effect.)
3rd MP Skill Thunderstrike This is an extremely fatal spell that causes massive rains of thunder. It is performed in three phases:

Phase 1: It has a powerful charging phase. The charge lasts for 3.5 seconds, which can be intercepted.
Phase 2: The next phase causes a massive eruption, affecting all those within range (approximately an entire screen).
Phase 3: The last phase unleashes massive thunderbolts over most of the field.

2nd MP Skill Holy Knight The Holy Knight is a powerful transformation that governs of whats all Light and Holy. This effect improves his melee and magic attacks and provides slight defense. It lasts approximately one minute, but has a two minute cooldown after use. It is possible to cancel this by the A command.
3rd MP Skill Chaos Knight The Chaos Knight is a powerful transformation that rules of whats all Dark and Unholy. This effect improves his melee and magic attacks, along with more health. It lasts approximately one minute, but has a two minute cooldown after use. However, when the time ends, it creates a debuff that will constantly drain the user's health, unless automatically canceled by the A command.
15th MP Skill God of Twilight The Demi-God powers were a gift from the deities bestowed upon a being. They don't add Attack nor Defense, but they do add a strong Vitality buff, along with an additional 50% HP Regen along with a 75% MP Regen. In addition, this form moves faster and contains a Super Armor effect (within the exception of grabbings). The transformation effect poses a large shockwave, pushing back nearby foes. It lasts infinitely long, and can make the other two transformations last forever as well. The form can be canceled by using the A command.

Holy KnightEdit

MP Skill Lvl Name Effect
1st MP Skill Light Flash Shadow will blind all targets in Light. Their screen will blank out White for 5 seconds, making them extremely vulnerable. Range is approximately around the skill freeze. However, because they are only blind and not stunned, they will still attack.
2nd MP Skill Light Burst This attack shoots a powerful beam toward the enemy, causing an eruption. It has almost the same shooting properties as the Ice Spear.
3rd MP Skill Divine Blade The blade is a dangerous tool that creates a destructive circle, and then dashes through with a deadly cut. It is similar to the effects of the Duelist's Dread Punisher, except performed differently.

Chaos KnightEdit

MP Skill Lvl Name Effect
1st MP Skill Dark Control This mind-boggling skill controls a foe (from Kastulle Ruins Lower or Upper Floors) that will tend to mob its enemy at a nonstop rate. 6 of these can be summoned on the field, each lasting 45 seconds.
(Note: There is a 5% Chance that a Fire Golem or a Paradom will spawn, and a 1% Chance a Cyclops or a Giant Stone Golem will spawn.)
2nd MP Skill Dark Bolt This attack unleashes a fusion of the Fire, Ice, and Lightning Bolt spells. It takes 2 seconds to fully cast.
3rd MP Skill Chaotic Wraith The Chaos Knight will generate a massive circle infront of him, which indicates the fielded range (approximate 3/4ths a full screen infront of him). He grasps his hand, and then vanishes. All of a sudden, the entire circle is attacked by piercing marks, and then powerful cross strikes from all directions. The circle vanishes, and the enemy has taken a ton of damage. This is the Chaos' Wraith.

4th MP Bar Fury of Light The holy energy will generate an aura, which automatically pierces nearby targets using holy energy. The attack only lasts for 15 seconds or if no one is in range (full screen).
5th MP Bar Wings of Eclipse The dark energy generates a shadowy barrier, which reduces all damage and/or stuns by 25 seconds. The shield's life support is generated by five times Shadow's defense.
6th MP Bar Spear of Light The holy energy generates a massive spear that causes an extremely powerful explosion if impacted (full screen vertical, half screen horizontal).
7th MP Bar Wings of Rage The dark energy throws shadowy crow that homes in on an enemy. When struck, an explosion is made and a DoT effect is left on those impacted.
8th MP Bar Shadow of Spirit A shadow energy emits from Shadow's metallic arm, which calls forth fallen souls. If its an enemy, it can be used to attack a living creature. If its an ally, it can revive them or add an extra life to the entire group once. Up to 10 Spirits can be gathered, and the whole phase lasts for 60 seconds.
(Note: For an enemy, there has to be a corpse or this ability will not be put into effect. If an ally, they must have lost a life. If neither can follow, the effects won't take place, but the skill's duration will continue.)
9th MP Bar Sword of Shadow A powerful shadow energy emits from Shadow's metallic arm, which summons multiple piercing swords. These swords directly pop out from the tool, directly splattering on the field. The attack stays for 10 seconds, along with ignoring any possible defenses. In addition, anyone hit by the swords will be debuffed and disables the use of skills for 15 seconds. This is one incredible attack by the use of swords and the deities...
